Our Commitment

SlateSense provides sports analysis and picks for informational and entertainment purposes. We do not accept wagers and we are not a sportsbook — but we know the content we produce sits next to real betting decisions, and we take that seriously. If gambling stops being fun, stop.

Who Should Not Use SlateSense

• Anyone under 21 years of age.
• Anyone who has self-excluded from gambling in their jurisdiction.
• Anyone for whom gambling has caused — or has the potential to cause — financial, family, work, or mental health harm.
• Anyone using funds they cannot afford to lose, or borrowing money to wager.

Signs of Problem Gambling

If any of these resonate, consider stepping back:

• Betting more than you planned, or more often than you planned;
• "Chasing" losses — betting more to win back what you lost;
• Lying to people close to you about how much time or money you spend on gambling;
• Feeling anxious, restless, or irritable when trying to cut back;
• Borrowing or selling things to fund gambling;
• Gambling to escape stress, depression, or other problems.

• 1-800-GAMBLER: US national helpline, free, 24/7.
• National Council on Problem Gambling: state-by-state resources and online chat support.
• Gamblers Anonymous: peer-support meetings, in person and online.
• State self-exclusion programs: most regulated US sportsbook markets offer voluntary self-exclusion. Contact your state's gaming commission to enroll. If you self-exclude, you agree under our Terms not to use SlateSense during the exclusion period.
• Deposit / time / loss limits: most licensed sportsbooks let you set these directly on your betting account. Use them.

Your Account

If you'd like us to close your SlateSense account and cancel any active subscription, email support@slatesense.com from the email on your account. We will process the request within two business days.

What We Will Not Do

• We will never tell you a pick is a "lock," "guaranteed," or "risk-free." No bet is.
• We will not encourage you to bet more than you intended, chase losses, or wager money you cannot afford to lose.
• We will not knowingly serve users who have self-excluded or who are under 21.

A Note on How Picks Work

SlateSense picks are produced by a statistical model scoring team and matchup factors (records, form, injuries, pitching, weather, rest, line movement, advanced stats). A "Strong" confidence pick does not mean a guaranteed win — over many picks, higher confidence should correlate with higher win rates, but the outcome of any single game is uncertain.
